About Me
Psychotherapist in training under supervision | Systemic Therapy
The path into psychotherapy has not been entirely linear – more like an adventurous film with unexpected scene changes.
It began with a Master's degree in InterMedia – Visual Communication at FH Vorarlberg, followed by many years working as a photographer, cameraman, and later as a media teacher. Unusual perspectives, meaningful stories, and looking beneath the surface have long been central themes – once through the lens, now more within.
A strong curiosity led to experiences abroad: in Australia (Sydney, exchange semester at UTS and two years of work), in Mexico City (assistant director), and in Bolivia – including a 6000-meter expedition with camera in hand. Different cultures and perspectives broadened the view and kept curiosity alive.
These experiences shape the work today: observing closely, recognizing connections, and bringing into awareness what often remains hidden. With sensitivity, blind spots and recurring patterns are explored – not to judge, but to understand. Growth is always possible, regardless of background or challenge.
Focus areas include working with adolescents, navigating digital environments (social media, AI, media literacy), and supporting individuals dealing with addiction-related issues.
The view of the human being is holistic: body, mind, and psyche are interconnected. This perspective has been deepened through experiences with shamanic traditions in South America, as well as yoga and Vipassana silent retreats.
Movement plays an important role – both mentally and physically. What begins to move can begin to change.
Today, all these experiences come together: clear, grounded, and human.
In other words: It is about discovering new perspectives and developing paths that feel meaningful, authentic, and alive.
